I do my best to categorize this website in a logical manner, but I figured it might help to have a map of the place. Some things may show up on multiple pages, but very rarely will a link ever show up on the same page twice.

For example, Human* Being is an ethnography on otherkin. It is on my publicatoins page. Because it is a book, it could have gone under the book section. It is also academic, and having it under both would be redundant. Instead, I prioritized the content (that being, academic work) and placed it under academia.

On the other hand, The Virtual Howl is a group with a Discord server and VRChat group. They are listed under blogs and other groups as well as under social media groups.

This website, if I were to include it, would likely go under both personal websites and archives and accumulations.

If you are having trouble finding something, be sure to try and think about what other categories it might fall under. I categorize by medium as opposed to identity or 'type. I do not currently have an easy way to tag these websites and places with all the labels that might apply to them. It would take much more time and effort than I have. If you still can't find something or think I have miscategorized something, reach out to me and I will see what I can do.

Alterhuman Resources

Forums: Online forums, both active and inactive.

Personal Websites: Websites made by individuals for personal use. Usually hosted on Neocities or Nekoweb, but not necessarily.

Social Media Groups: Alterhuman groups hosted on larger platforms, such as Facebook or Discord. IRC, MUCK/MUDs, and the like will also be hosted here.

Blogs and Groups: Blogs run by multiple individuals or groups with a presence on multiple social medias. If a group has multiple (open) social media groups, they will usually be placed under both this page and with the rest of the social media groups.

Archives and Accumulations: Collections of any resource at all, usually writing and art.

Howls and Cons: Gatherings, both online and inperson, alongside places to watch recodered gatherings of the past.

Publications: Books, academic publications, comics games, zines, surverys, and other things. Groups that distribute nonhuman writing, as well.
